Your Right to Delete Your Data
At AiPSEO, we respect your privacy and your right over your data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and all associated data.
⚠️ Important Notice
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account and data are deleted, all your QR codes, uploaded content, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.
What Gets Deleted
1. Account Information
- Your email address and authentication data
- Username and profile information
- Account creation date and login history
- Account preferences and settings
2. QR Codes and Content
- All QR codes you have generated
- Text content and URLs embedded in QR codes
- Uploaded media files (images, documents)
- QR code design preferences and customizations
3. Usage Data
- Activity logs and service usage statistics
- Email delivery records and notifications
- Analytics data associated with your account
ℹ️ What We Keep
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Anonymous usage statistics (no personal identifiers)
- Data required for legal compliance or dispute resolution
- Backup data that may be retained for a limited period
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion
If you are currently logged in to your account:
- Visit your account dashboard
- Navigate to your account settings
- Look for "Delete Account" or "Privacy Settings"
- Follow the prompts to confirm account deletion
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to make a formal request:
- Send an email to privacy@aipseo.com
- Include the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Provide the email address associated with your account
- State your request for complete data deletion
- We will respond within 7 business days to confirm receipt
Verification Process
To protect your identity and prevent unauthorized deletions, we may need to verify your identity:
- Confirm your email address from the original authentication provider (Google/Apple)
- Ask for additional verification if we cannot confirm your identity
- Respond to any identity verification questions via the same email
Processing Timeline
Once your deletion request is verified:
- Immediate (within 24 hours): Account access is disabled
- 7 business days: Primary data deletion completed
- 30 days: Complete removal from all backup systems
You will receive confirmation emails at each stage of the process.
Before You Delete Your Data
Export Your QR Codes
We recommend exporting your QR codes before deletion:
- Download individual QR code images
- Export QR code data as CSV or JSON format
- Save any uploaded media files locally
- Update any external references to your QR codes
Consider Alternative Actions
Before deleting your account, consider if these actions might address your concerns:
- Temporarily disabling notifications
- Updating your privacy settings
- Deleting specific QR codes instead of your entire account
- Disconnecting from specific authentication sources
After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- You will not be able to recover any deleted QR codes or content
- You can create a new account at any time
- You can request data deletion again if needed
- We will stop all communications related to your deleted account
